June 16, 1998 NEW YORK (AP) - Warner Wolf's favorite cry is "Let's go to the video- tape,'' but the television sportscaster had to run to the dentist instead after his dentures popped out during a live broadcast. Wolf's bridge slipped out of his mouth while he was announcing horse racing results on WCBS-TV Friday night. "I've been on the air for 38 years, and that's the worst thing that's ever happened to me,'' Wolf told the New York Post for today's editions. He said his dentist had glued the new bridge in on Thursday, but it began to slip before Friday's 11 p.m. news. "I could feel it was loose, and while I was talking on the air I'm thinking to myself, `Is it going to fall out?''' he said. Just three days earlier, Wolf had an uncontrollable coughing fit while reading a story. "Two of the worst things that could happen within days of each other,'' he said. "Boy, I've got to say it was quite a week! I hope that's it for a while.''
